Onion Bhaji Pav is a crispy, flavour-packed street-style snack that brings together spice, crunch, and comfort. Thinly sliced onions are tossed with green chillies, aromatic spices, and roasted chickpea flour, then fried until golden and crisp. These hot kanda bhajis are tucked into soft pav layered with tangy tamarind chutney, fresh green chutney, and a sprinkle of fiery Solapur groundnut chutney. Served fresh and indulgent, this Mumbai-inspired treat is perfect for tea-time, rainy evenings, or whenever you’re craving a satisfying, desi-style snack bursting with bold flavours.
Ingredients

5-6 Onions (sliced)

2-3 Green Chillies (chopped)

1⁄2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp Cumin Powder

1 tsp Coriander Powder

5-6 tbsp Urban Platter Roasted Chickpea Flour

6 pcs Pav

2-3 tsp Solapur Groundnut Chutney

Tamarind Chutney

Green Chutney
Directions
In a large bowl, mix together the onions, green chillies, spice powders, and mix.
Add the Roasted Chickpea Flour, and mix well until everything has combined well.
Fry the onion mixture in oil, in small batches until golden and crispy.
Set aside on a plate lined with tissue to soak up any excess oil.
Slice open the pav, spread the chutneys, and sprinkle the groundnut chutney over it.
Place the Kanda Bhaji inside.
Shut and drizzle with more chutney if desired, and serve immediately.
