The 7-Seed Bread Loaf is a delicious homemade bread featuring a golden crust, soft interior, and satisfying crunch from a nutritious blend of seven seeds. Made with T-45 flour, yeast, warm water, and oil, this bread develops its flavour and texture through two stages of proofing before being baked to perfection. The 7-in-1 seed mix adds a delightful nutty taste and extra texture to every slice. Perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, or an afternoon snack, this freshly baked loaf pairs beautifully with butter, spreads, or your favourite toppings. Enjoy the comforting aroma and wholesome taste of homemade seeded bread straight from your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 250 g T-45 flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup 7-in-1 seed mix

Directions

    Prepare the Dough:

    1. In a large bowl, combine the T-45 flour, sugar, salt, and active dry yeast. Mix well using a whisk.

    Add Wet Ingredients:

    1. Pour in the warm water and oil. Knead the mixture until a smooth dough forms.

    First Proofing:

    1. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let the dough proof for 2 hours in a warm place until it doubles in size.

    Incorporate Seed Mix:

    1. Transfer the risen dough onto a clean countertop. Sprinkle the 7-in-1 seed mix over the dough and knead gently to evenly distribute the seeds throughout.

    Shape and Second Proofing:

    1. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a parchment-lined loaf pan. Cover and let it proof for another 1 hour.

    Bake:

    1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the loaf for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.

    Cool and Serve:

    1. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
