Ingredients
- ¼ cup Dried Blue Pea Flowers
- 1 cup hot water
- Fruit jellies (e.g., litchi jelly), to your preference
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar balls (sprinkles)
- Ice cubes
- Orange juice
Directions
- Prepare the Blue Pea Tea: In a bowl or mug, add the ¼ cup of dried blue pea flowers. Pour 1 cup of hot water over them. Let the flowers steep for 30 minutes to create a deep blue tea. Afterwards, strain the tea to remove the flowers and set the blue liquid aside.
- Prepare the Glass: In a tall serving glass, add the fruit jellies, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of sugar balls. Use a straw to give everything a quick mix.
- Assemble the Drink: Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Create the Galaxy: Slowly pour orange juice over the ice until the glass is about 3/2 full.
- The Final Reveal: Gently pour the prepared blue pea tea over the top. Watch as the blue tea reacts with the citrus from the orange and lemon juice, changing its color to beautiful shades of pink and purple, creating a stunning nebula effect.
