NYE Crostini is a quick and elegant appetiser perfect for celebrations and festive gatherings. Crisp, golden slices of toasted baguette are layered with creamy cream cheese and aromatic basil pesto, creating a rich and flavourful base. Topped with a fresh cherry tomato mixture tossed in olive oil, herbs, and seasoning, each bite offers a refreshing contrast of textures. The addition of crunchy pine nuts adds a nutty finish, making these crostini both simple and sophisticated. Perfect for parties or special occasions, they are easy to prepare and deliver a delicious burst of flavour in every bite.
Ingredients

4 Slices French Baguette

4 tbsp Cream Cheese

1⁄2 cup Cherry Tomato (cut into half)

2 tbsp Olive oil

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Black Pepper Powder

1 tbsp Parsley (finely chopped)

1 tbsp Pine Nuts (roughly chopped)

4 tbsp Basil Pesto
Directions
Brush some butter on french baguette slices and toast in the oven at 180 ̊C, until crisp and golden in colour.
Meanwhile in a bowl add cherry tomato, salt, black pepper powder, olive oil, parsley and mix well.
Now spread the cream cheese on the toast followed by the Basil Pesto.
Top with cherry tomato mixture and Urban Platter Pine Nuts.
Pour some more Basil oil on top, serve and enjoy!
