Ingredients
-
130g Roasted Unsalted Peanuts (lightly crushed)
-
150g Jaggery (grated)
-
1 tbsp Water
-
1 tsp Ghee
Directions
In a large kadai, add the grated jaggery, and the water, and allow it to melt on a low flame.
To check if done, pour a drizzle of the melted jaggery into a bowl of ice cold water. The jaggery should snap in half when broken.
Pour in the ghee and mix gently.
Once it has reached the desired consistency, add in the Peanuts and mix till coated well with the jaggery.
Place the mixture immediately onto a wooden chopping board, or a plate, lightly greased with ghee.
Roll out into a rectangle shape.
Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes, and then cut into the desired sizes.
Serve immediately, or store in an air-tight container.
