Ingredients

500g “00” Pizza Flour

2 tbsp Active Dry Yeast

2 tsp Sugar

250ml Warm Water (use more if needed)

100g Pizza Sauce

200g Cheese (grated)

Basil Leaves
Directions
In a bowl mix the warm water and sugar, till dissolved fully.
Sprinkle in the yeast, mix well and set aside, till foamy and risen.
Pour the yeast mix into the flour, and mix well till a rough dough is formed.
Turn it out onto the counter and knead till smooth. Cover and keep in a warm area, till
the dough has doubled in size.Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Remove the dough from the bowl onto a tray lined with parchment paper, and using your hands, shape the dough into a circle.
Using a cookie cutter, cut out the centre of the dough.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly, sprinkle the cheese, and add the basil leaves on top.
Place in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until the edges are golden in colour.
Remove, slice and serve immediately.
